So back when Apple announced that they were switching to Intel, there was a rumour going around before the Keynote that that would be the big announcement. A few friends declared that if Apple announced that switch, they would eat hat-shaped cakes.

The hat-shaped cakes were delicious.

See, the cake method makes it a win-win situation: either you win the bet, or you eat cake.
